Teaming up with PetSmart to find great homes for dogs and cats

At the beginning of 2002, HCWS was given the opportunity by PetSmart to adopt out animals from their location. The PetSmart organization was pleased with the success of our volunteers and with our unique cage-less play area for the cats. So after a lot of work setting things up, HCWS is happy to report that we are adopting pets from the PetSmart location at I-215 and S. Rainbow Boulevard.

HCWS plans to adopt out over 500 cats and dogs to good homes this year. The PetSmart location has cats to view on a daily basis and adoptions of dogs will be held every Saturday. The adoption centers are run by a group of PETsMART ‘Angels’ that consist of store employees, HCWS staff and our dedicated volunteers. If you would like to adopt a cat, kitten, or dog or if you would like to volunteer at the PetSmart adoption center, call HCWS at 227-5555.
