Dear Animal Lover, I am hoping to see you at Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary’s 4th Annual Luncheon and I am pleased to announce that this year’s soiree will be held at the beautiful Stirling Club and honoring our special guest speaker, Rita Rudner. We have added more silent auction opportunities with beautiful jewelry, fine wine, Holiday crafts and more.

To help with the success of this event, Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary is in need of donated jewelry, new or previously worn. Last year’s donated jewelry brought in half of the funds raised proving just how important your donation is. If you cannot donate jewelry, we can also use items such as: gift certificates to restaurants, wine, gift baskets, spa treatments etc… Another way to help is with the purchase of a page in our luncheon booklet honoring a pet or loved one, promoting your business, or just showing your support with kind words. Remember, Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary is a non-profit organization, so every donated item is a full tax deduction because we are a 501 (c) (3).

Since Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary’s inception, 4,000 homeless cats and dogs have been saved and over 10,000 sterilized. This has saved thousands of lives from being destroyed at our local shelters, which kill about 24,000 cats and dogs annually. Our most beneficial spay/neuter program, Ground Zero, utilizes a mobile vet at targeted, less fortunate areas where residents cannot afford to sterilize their pets. These areas alone are responsible for 70% of our pet over-population problem.

The funds raised from this luncheon will be used to fund our many programs. Not one of the Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary Board Members or Executives is paid salaries. We rely heavily on ourselves and over fifty volunteers who are helping us to reach our goal of never seeing an adoptable cat or dog killed at our local shelters due to lack of space. We work diligently out of our love for the animals and the benefits our organization brings to the community.

We are offering lunch for 8 for a $350 donation, so please bring some friends and together we can all support this worthwhile cause while purchasing beautiful gifts at great prices.
