I am writing to invite you to join me in my effort to help stop the needless killing of cats and dogs here in the Las Vegas area.

In the year 2000, the Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary was founded. Since our inception, we have saved over 4,600 homeless cats and dogs through our various PETsMART locations, and more importantly we have spayed and neutered over 13,000 animals through our three spay and neuter programs. Our newest program, “Pups on Parole” utilizes the inmates at Jean Conservation Camp and the Southern Nevada Correctional Facility to teach our homeless dogs house breaking and basic obedience to help ensure a permanent home. With over 24,000 pets being killed annually at our local shelters, we still have a long way to go.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the beautiful DragonRidge Country Club, I am organizing a charity golf tournament to raise money for the Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary, which has its 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. I am writing to invite you and your organization to be part of this event by sponsoring a tee with your own personal sentiment, remembrance of a pet or loved one, or your business name and logo for only $250.00. Pictured above is an example of a tee sponsor sign from last year’s event for you to see. If not a tee sponsor, perhaps a gift certificate or any contribution from your establishment would be greatly appreciated.
