PETsMART Adoption Centers

Goal of 2008: Adopt 1000 cats & dogs to great homes. At the beginning of 2002, HCWS was given the opportunity by PETsMART to do adoptions out of a few of their locations. The PETsMART organization was pleased with the success of our volunteers and with our unique cage-less play area for the cats. So after a lot of work setting things up, HCWS is happy to report that we are adopting pets out of the four PETsMART locations listed below.

With the help of this expansion, HCWS plans to adopt 1,000 cats & dogs to good homes this year. Each location has cats and kittens to adopt on a daily basis and adoptions of dogs will be at the Rainbow & 215 location every Saturday. The adoption centers are run by a group of PETsMART ‘Angels’ that consist of store employees, HCWS staff and are dedicated volunteers.
