SNAPI Donates to save lives at the Feral Cat Clinic
On December 29, 2006 Ella Rae Zanders presents David Henderson, DVM of Sunrise Vet Clinic and Harold Vosko, Vice President of HCWS, with a check for $938.00 celebrating the sterilization of last year's 7,000th animal by Heaven Can Wait. Ms. Zanders is a local actress and model who has appeared in ads for companies such as McDonald's, Target, and Little Debbie. Her generous and thoughtful donation gives us all hope that the future of the animals in our community is in great hands. Thank you once again, Ms. Zanders, from all of us at HCWS!
Joan Joan Burtenett and Susan Clancey do the check in at our feral Burtenett and Susan Clancey do the check in at our feral cat clinic that was held March 22, 2007. The all volunteer clinic spay/neutered 222 cats at Sunrise Vet Hospital, setting a record for that location. Our next clinic be April 22. This very worthwhile program has now sterilized 7,308 cats preventing thousands of animals from being “born to die” or living inhumane lives. We'd like to thank everyone involved for their extraordinary help and dedication to end the suffering . Great job!!
A group of 5th graders at the J. Marlan Walker International School in Henderson organized a fundraiser called the "Spring Fling" and were able to raise $100.00 for Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary. Their group called the L.A.B.S. (Loveable Animals Boarded in Sanctuaries) have made successful, ongoing efforts to support HCWS and its programs. Their most recent endeavor called "Spare Change Saves Lives" ended April 30th, and will surely result in helping many animals live a better life. All of us at Heaven Can Wait (including the four-legged ones) would like to thank the L.A.B.S. for such an unselfish desire to donate their time and thoughtfulness to such a worthy cause.
Way to go!!!
Zia Record Exchange at 4225 S Eastern Ave was recently able to raise $345.66 for Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary by accepting donations from their customers. We at HCWS would like to thank them for their efforts and their generous customers who support what we do in the community. We appreciate all of you help!
Through their efforts and the efforts of everyone in our local communities we will win the War Against Reproduction. Thanks again to VCA Black Mountain for all of you help!
Dr. Randy Winn and his team of experienced and caring employees work hard every day to offer a great experience to anyone who needs care for their animals. They continue to help and support Heaven Can Wait's goal to end the pet overpopulation problem in Las Vegas.
On Friday, August 24th, VCA Black Mountain helped sterilize over 20 of Heaven Can Wait's dogs (mostly pit & pit mixes) and will alter close to 400 this year alone! With an average litter of 7 puppies from each female this will prevent thousands of unwanted and uncared for animals in our community next year.
